Position Overview

We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and motivated intern to join our Quality Department with a focus on quality systems and audit support. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience with automotive quality management systems, internal audits, and continuous improvement processes. The intern will assist in maintaining compliance to industry standards and supporting quality system development activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Quality Systems Support:
    • Assist in maintaining and updating the Quality Management System (QMS) documentation in accordance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and customer-specific requirements.
    • Support the preparation and organization of records, procedures, and manuals.
    • Help monitor corrective and preventive actions to ensure timely closure.
  • Audit Support:
    • Participate in internal quality audits (system, process, and product audits) and assist with scheduling, documentation, and follow-up activities.
    • Support external audit readiness by preparing records and evidence for certification and customer audits.
    • Track audit findings and assist in verification of implemented corrective actions.
  • Data and Metrics:
    • Collect, organize, and analyze quality performance data related to system effectiveness and compliance.
    • Support creation of quality performance reports and presentations for management review.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Assist with initiatives to streamline and improve quality processes.
    • Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving sessions as required.
  • General Support:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, Engineering, Program Management, etc.) to support quality objectives.
    • Perform administrative tasks related to quality documentation and record retention.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Quality Management, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with automotive quality standards (IATF 16949, ISO 9001) preferred but not required.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
