GetBuddy is a pet adoption and lifelong care platform helping people find adoptable pets through AI-powered matching, while offering free 24/7 virtual vet and training support. Our mission is to reduce shelter returns and euthanasia by supporting both pets and people, before and after adoption.

 

The Role

We’re hiring a PR & Administrative Intern to help with scheduling, calendar tracking, and general organizational support. This is a great opportunity for a student interested in PR, marketing, communications, or startup operations who wants hands-on experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with PR scheduling and coordination
  • Track outreach, follow-ups, and deadlines
  • Maintain and update PR, content, and internal calendars
  • Help organize documents, links, and basic reports
  • Support leadership with general administrative tasks
  • Keep projects organized and on track

     

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Comfortable using calendars, spreadsheets, and Google Workspace
  • Clear written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and dependable
  • Able to work independently and follow instructions

     

Preferred (Not Required)

  • Interest in PR, marketing, communications, or media
  • Previous assistant, admin, or coordinator experience
