The Onsite Program Coordinator is the onsite leader responsible for overseeing daily program management, supervising site programmatic staff, ensuring safety and quality delivery of STEAM activities, community and partner relationships for K-12 schools and students.
We have 3-5 openings for Onsite Program Coordinators in the San Francisco Bay Area. These are part-time openings and require up to 40 hours per month during the school year and up to 40 hours per week during the summer months.
This position on a 1099 with salary range of $22-$25 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications and alignment with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
Program Management & Delivery
- Manage daily site activities, including setup, scheduling, and activity execution.
- Help plan and run a strong enrichment program that supports learning and fun.
- Assist in managing the daily schedule and keeping the program safe, organized, and welcoming.
- Be present and active during program hours.
- Work with partners and back-office staff to align efforts and share resources.
- Attend school site meetings to support planning and evaluation.
- Supervise 5-15 programmatic staff, ensuring best practices.
- Track attendance, paperwork, incidents, and outcomes via centralized dashboards.
Relationship Building
- Forge strong relationships with partners, school and district administrators, local community, fostering collaboration and creating opportunities for success.
- Build relationships with families through orientations, events, and regular communication.
- Build relationships with Partners and onsite Staff, host family events and stakeholder meetings.
- Liaison with parents professionally and involve leadership when needed.
- Lead site specific community engagement activities.
Proactive Problem Solving
- Identify and resolve potential challenges proactively, working closely with our Support Team to coordinate interventions as needed to ensure seamless program delivery.
- Enforce child protection protocols, emergency procedures, and risk management.
- Maintain safe environments; document/log all incidents per organizational policy.
- Collaborate with onsite staff, identify needs, coordinate interventions as needed to ensure seamless program delivery.
Data Driven Impact
- Ensure accurate data collection and management
- Submit daily/weekly reports to leadership.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Strong leadership and supervision skills.
- Valid Driver’s License and ability to commute.
- Time management, planning, and prioritization.
- Ability to organize and manage multiple responsibilities successfully.
- Exhibits professional and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to prioritize and focus on key objectives.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in using all communication media including in person, phone, and video
- Ability to build engagement and trust in relationships, whether with partners or with team members

- Ability to engage, manage and grow relationships with customers, employees, and business partners.
- Experience working in team environment
- 2+ years of youth program experience with diverse youth populations is ideal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, data entry and reporting tools.
- Passion for STEAM/Academics integration and whole-child development.
- CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain).
- DOJ/FBI clearance & TB testing will be required.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
- Ability to engage in physical activities such as standing, walking, sitting, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
- Work may take place in indoor classrooms, outdoor recreational areas, and hybrid settings.
- Flexibility to adapt to dynamic program needs, including occasional travel between Rrooar Academy’s program sites.
