UAT Tester (User Acceptance Testing)
Location: Tempe 
Employment Type: Contract / Casual (with potential for long-term paid role)
Role Overview: We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive UAT Tester to support testing efforts for new platform releases at Cobber. This role involves hands-on execution of user acceptance tests, documenting test results, and working closely with product, development, and support teams to ensure platform updates meet quality standards.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone interested in software testing, quality assurance, or product development—and may evolve into a longer-term, paid position for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:
• Execute user acceptance testing (UAT) for new features, enhancements, and bug fixes
• Accurately log defects, anomalies, and unexpected behaviors in the system
• Document test results and provide clear feedback to relevant teams
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and support teams to clarify requirements and ensure issue resolution
• Perform regression and smoke testing during release cycles
• Create and maintain reusable test cases and scripts
• Contribute to refining testing documentation, processes, and best practices
 

Ideal Candidate:
• Strong attention to detail and a structured, methodical approach to testing
• Clear and concise communicator, both written and verbal
• Ability to follow testing procedures and document findings reliably
• Comfortable working cross-functionally with product, dev, and support teams
• Familiarity with software platforms and web applications (no coding required)
• Previous experience in QA, UAT, or technical testing is a bonus, but not required
