YouTube Podcast Production Intern

The YouTube Podcast Production Intern will play a key role in the launch and growth of a branded video podcast platform. This intern will be responsible for the full video production lifecycle—filming, editing, post-production, and content delivery—supporting the creation of high-quality, engaging, and on-brand podcast content for YouTube and social platforms.

This is a hands-on, creative role ideal for a student or emerging professional interested in media production, content creation, digital storytelling, and brand building.

Core Responsibilities

🎥 Video Production

Set up and manage cameras, lighting, and audio equipment for podcast recordings

Assist with shot composition, framing, and visual consistency

Manage file storage, labeling, and content organization

Support studio setup and breakdown for each recording session

✂️ Editing & Post-Production

Edit full-length podcast episodes for YouTube

Create short-form video clips for social platforms (Reels, TikTok, Shorts)

Add graphics, intro/outro sequences, lower thirds, and branding elements

Sync audio, color correct footage, and maintain visual/audio quality standards

Ensure all content aligns with brand identity and tone

📲 Content Optimization & Publishing

Prepare final exports for YouTube and social platforms

Assist with titles, thumbnails, descriptions, and formatting

Support upload scheduling and content calendar management

Organize episode archives and digital asset libraries

🚀 Launch Support

Assist with YouTube channel setup and organization

Support podcast launch strategy execution

Participate in creative brainstorming sessions

Help build production workflows and repeatable systems

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in:
Film, Media Production, Digital Media, Communications, Marketing, or related field

Experience with video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, etc.)

Basic knowledge of camera equipment, lighting, and audio

Strong attention to detail and visual storytelling

Organized, reliable, and deadline-driven

Creative mindset with technical execution skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Preferred Skills (Not Required)

YouTube content strategy knowledge

Podcast production experience

Motion graphics or animation experience

Graphic design (Canva, Adobe Suite)

Social media content creation experience
