Inventory Management Assistant

University of Iowa Health Care - Medical Center Downtown campus supply chain department is seeking a student who will provide support on the weekends in our supply room. 

This position will be supporting a current Supply Chain Technician in their duties and will be temporary.

CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Picking supplies from a generated Storeroom pick ticket sorted by location and placing them in bins on a cart to deliver to that supply location. 
• Restocking supply par locations with medical/surgical supplies.
• Restocking Omnicell locations with IVs. 
• Assist with transporting supply carts to their respective locations.
• Assist with restocking supplies alongside an experienced Supply Chain Technician.

The student would have the Supply Chain Technician as a resource during the hours worked to assist with picking, delivering, and restocking. 

Pay: $15.00/hour

Schedule: 

Sat-Sun 4-5 hours per day.

Start time can be negotiable but would prefer a start time between 7:30-8:00 am. and work until noon or 1:00 pm.
