Overview UCB is offering an exciting opportunity for a Legal Intern to gain meaningful, hands-on experience in the biopharmaceutical industry. This paid internship provides exposure to cutting-edge legal issues, mentorship from experienced professionals, and the chance to contribute to impactful projects. About the Role The Legal Intern will primarily support the U.S. Legal Team within UCB’s Ethics and Legal Affairs department. The internship is based at UCB’s U.S. headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia and occur May 2026-July 31, 2026. Responsibilities As a Legal Intern, you will work under the supervision of UCB attorneys and gain exposure to realworld legal matters. Responsibilities may include: Conducting legal research on a broad range of topics, particularly related to the pharmaceutical industry (e.g., FDA regulatory matters, advertising and promotion requirements, fraud, waste, and abuse). Gain practical experience and develop a strong understanding of the role and responsibilities of a Product Counsel, in part, by supporting legal reviews, advising on regulatory compliance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the product lifecycle. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including medical/clinical, regulatory, compliance, commercial, data/privacy, and international colleagues. Participating in projects, meetings, and department presentations to gain insights into pharmaceutical industry strategies and best practices. Preparing materials for executive leadership meetings. Gaining exposure to other areas of law relevant to an in-house lawyer such as litigation, employment law, and data/privacy. Completing a capstone project and presenting findings to UCB legal team members at the end of the internship. Additional Learning Opportunities: Possible interaction with outside counsel, as well as Compliance and Regulatory professionals. Understanding applicable laws, regulations, and industry guidance, including those from the FDA, FTC, DOJ, SEC, and OIG. Benefits .
