Grant Prospecting Intern (Summer Internship)

Location: Remote / Hybrid Georgia

Duration: 2–3 months (Summer)

Hours: 20 hours/week

Compensation:

20 hours unpaid training/onboarding

Then $12/hour for up to 20 hours/week

 


 

 

About the Internship:

EverFund is seeking a motivated, nonprofit major (or similarly), college student for a summer internship focused on grant research and prospecting. This role is ideal for students interested in nonprofit management, public administration, education policy, research, or philanthropy.

 

Interns will receive hands-on training in grant discovery tools and real-world experience supporting nonprofits, schools, and community-based organizations in identifying funding opportunities.


 

 

Responsibilities:

-Conduct grant prospecting and funding research for nonprofits and education-focused organizations

-Use national and private grant databases to identify relevant opportunities

-Match local community needs with foundation, corporate, and government grants

-Organize and summarize grant opportunities in shared tracking systems

-Support EverFund staff with research briefs and funding lists

Ideal Candidate:

Current nonprofit major, college student (undergraduate or graduate)

Strong research, reading, and organizational skills

Interest in nonprofits, education, public service, or philanthropy

Comfortable working independently and meeting weekly research goals

Willing to learn grant systems and follow structured research methods
