We serve as brand ambassadors for our clients, enhancing their visibility in AI search by establishing authentic, organic digital footprints across the internet. Our teams of Digital Marketing Associates are called Drummers — brand ambassadors, guided by a Drum Major, all working together with one beat.

Drummers are the boots-on-the-ground, helping build and protect the presence and brand of our clients. Because we are pioneers in a rapidly evolving space, you won’t just be executing playbooks—you’ll be learning, experimenting, and helping define best practices that will shape Pearl 27’s future and your own professional growth.

An opportunity to learn and grow…
As a Drummer, you’ll gain hands-on experience at the intersection of brand, social media, and AI-driven search. You’ll learn how to build an authentic digital presence from the ground up—through thoughtful engagement, consistent brand voice, and ethical marketing practices. Guided by your Drum Lead and supported by a collaborative team, you’ll develop practical skills in social media strategy, audience interaction, and content creation. 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Understanding your client’s companies and their vision, goals, and brand voice, and learning how to represent and support their brand online. 
  • Creating and publishing human-generated social media posts and responding to comments directed toward clients on platforms such as LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Facebook, Reddit, Instagram, Quora, etc.
  • Writing long-form content and blog posts aligned with our client’s strategy.
  • Upholding Pearl 27’s high ethical standards with a commitment to light and truth—operating with full transparency and integrity (no spam, deception, or astroturfing).

Required Capabilities

  • Pathway student: currently enrolled and attending class with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • English fluency: excellent spoken, written, and reading proficiency in English.
  • Empathy: recognizing and understanding the experiences and perspectives of others, enabling one to respond appropriately and navigate diverse and challenging emotional landscapes (e.g., understanding issues by customers regarding a product or service).
  • Writing: effectively convey information, ideas, and thoughts through written communication – organizing thoughts cohesively, using appropriate language and tone, and structuring content for clarity and impact.
  • Project Management: planning, executing, and overseeing specific tasks and goals within a specified timeframe to achieve successful project outcomes.
  • Teamwork: working collaboratively with a group of individuals towards a common goal, actively listening to others, offering support, and contributing ideas to achieve shared outcomes.

Preferred Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related fields.
  • Previous work writing or editing stories, articles, scripts, marketing copy, or other narrative forms.
  • Experience in digital marketing or social media (e.g., LinkedIn, Reddit, X, Facebook).
