Video Editor Intern
📍 About The Role
Good Marketing Lab is looking for a creative, trend-savvy Video Editor Intern who understands what makes short-form content perform. This role is for someone who can edit fast, think visually, and use modern tools, AI effects, captions, and transitions to create scroll-stopping videos.
This is a paid internship (hourly or stipend), with real projects, real brands, and real portfolio work.
🎯 What You’ll Do
• Edit short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts
• Add modern captions, pacing, sound design, hooks, and transitions
• Use tools like CapCut plus AI platforms such as Higgsfield, Midjourney, and Nano Banana (and other AI video tools) to enhance visuals and speed up production
• Apply AI effects and motion enhancements in a way that still looks clean and premium
• Repurpose long videos into short clips with strong hooks and retention
• Collaborate with our team on creative direction, trends, and weekly content needs
• Deliver multiple variations quickly and iterate based on feedback
🧠 What We’re Looking For
• Strong editing skills in short-form content (student projects welcome)
• Experience with CapCut, Higgsfield and/or similar editing tools
• Comfort experimenting with AI-assisted editing and visuals (Higgsfield, Midjourney, Nano Banana, and comparable platforms)
• Great sense of pacing, rhythm, and storytelling for social media
• Ability to follow brand direction and maintain consistency
• Reliable communication and ability to hit deadlines
⭐ Bonus Points
• Basic motion graphics or animation skills
• Experience building templates or reusable editing systems
• Familiarity with auto-caption tools and subtitle styling
• You actively create content yourself or understand trend cycles
