Position Title: WHWS Student Sports Producer
Semester/Year: Spring 2026

Pay rate: $16 per hour
Hours per wk: up to 20 hrs
Start Date: Immediately
End Date: 5/15/2026
Job Responsibilities
- Play-by-play coverage and analysis of WHWS Athletics live sports broadcasts including, but not limited to soccer, field hockey, ice hockey, volleyball, baseball, and lacrosse
- Assist with scheduling announcers for WHWS Athletics broadcasts
- Train and work with local professional sports broadcasters
- Train and work with WHWS Student Sports Announcers
- Learn and utilize audio and video production equipment and software
- Produce broadcast sports promos as needed
- Conduct broadcast interviews as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience as WHWS Student Sports Announcer or comparable experience
- Knowledge of sports terminology and rules Dependable and punctual
- Well-organized
- Possess extremely strong communication skills and be willing to take initiative
- Positive, helpful, resourceful, flexible, and adaptable
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
