Strategy & Operations Intern, Summer 2026
About The Role
Join Jobfair® as a Strategy & Operations Intern for Summer 2026. Your focus will be helping build the operating playbooks and growth strategy that scale Jobfair’s employer and university partnerships—turning early traction into a repeatable, measurable engine.
You’ll work closely with company leadership and cross-functional partners to solve high-leverage problems across go-to-market strategy, partner operations, process design, and analytics. This role sits at the intersection of strategy and execution, with direct impact on growth, retention, and product direction.
What You Will Do
- Build and iterate on go-to-market playbooks (outreach messaging, partner onboarding, success checklists, renewal workflows)
- Analyze funnel performance across key pipelines (universities, employers, students) and recommend changes to improve conversion and retention
- Run structured partner research: segmentation, ICP refinement, competitive landscape, and pilot design
- Own operational projects end-to-end: define the problem, create a plan, coordinate stakeholders, and drive execution
- Create clear reporting for leadership: weekly metrics, experiment readouts, and concise recommendations
- Support cross-functional initiatives spanning Product, Operations, and Partnerships—especially where “the process doesn’t exist yet”
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and comfort with ambiguity; you can turn messy inputs into a clear plan
- Excellent communication (written + verbal) and the ability to work well with different stakeholders
- Solid analytical skills (spreadsheets, basic modeling, synthesizing insights from data and conversations)
- High ownership and follow-through; you finish what you start and sweat the details
- Interest in startups, marketplaces, or hiring/education technology
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
- Experience in consulting, operations, partnerships, research, or growth roles (internships, campus orgs, projects)
- Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot/Salesforce), automation, or lightweight process tooling (Notion, Airtable)
- Comfort running experiments (A/B tests, outreach variants, pilot structures) and summarizing results
- Ability to build simple dashboards or recurring reporting from raw data
Education
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Entrepreneurship, Analytics, Public Policy, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
