Data Analyst Intern

The Data Analyst Intern will assist the company’s data efforts by (1) resolving data disputes from customers, (2) validating data produced by alphaMountain’s proprietary data engines, and (3) maintaining internal data management tools. 

What You Will Be Doing

  • Handle data disputes from end users and partners
  • Identify patterns of data quality issues
  • Communicate data concerns to engineering team
  • Verify machine-produced data to be fed back for AI training
  • Maintain internal tools used to verify, categorize and correct data.

What You Bring

  • Eye for detail in data
  • 2 years of post-secondary education
  • Comfortable interacting with customers
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A self-motivator who thrives on identifying and resolving issues
  • A technical understanding of URLs and web protocols
  • Experience with relational DBs and SQL

  • Experience with basic scripting (Python, Javascript)
  • Basic understanding of web security threats

Pay: $20+/hour

Location: Northern Utah (Salt Lake, Provo areas), although most work will be remote
