Fraud Investigations Intern

Position Summary:

The Fraud Investigations Intern will gain experience in the Fraud Investigations field by providing support to the FRAML team.  This position will assist with a variety of special projects and support functions designed to achieve the overall strategic objectives of the Fraud department.

 

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

Work with Fraud Investigations team and other appropriate business units to create simple fraud-prevention guides that are shared when members open accounts

Develop fraud awareness modules teaching members how to spot phishing and secure their accounts

Help create timely awareness campaigns (emails, posters, social posts) for seasonal campaigns (tax season, holidays, etc.)

Create materials frontline staff can use to educate customers during interactions

Work with Fraud Investigations and various business units to incorporate departmental reporting into the fraud monitoring system

Create standardized reporting templates for fraud investigations to streamline documentation

Create scorecards for various quality reviews and assist with completion of quality reviews

SharePoint projects – adding resources, maintenance, etc.

Additional projects as needed

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word)

Minimum Requirements:

High School diploma or GED

Currently attending a college or university and have taken intermediate level courses typically in the third year of study.

Pursuit of degree in Criminal Justice preferred
