Finance Support Intern

Malkant Group is a Development Lab focused on building systems and tools for Career Durability. We believe in empowering professionals to become indispensable, resilient, and strategic assets in any organization.  Our labs combine hands-on project work with a structured, proprietary framework that builds foundational career skills for long-term success.

We are looking for a curious and motivated Finance Intern to join our team. This isn't a traditional internship. You'll gain direct exposure to high-level financial projects while simultaneously preparing for competitive workplaces through our Career Durability Lab. You'll leave with tangible experience on your resume and a calibrated, professional skill set that will distinguish you in the job market.
 

The Role: A Dual-Track Experience

Track 1: Financial Management.

You'll be embedded within our finance ecosystem, contributing to projects that support our partnerships with top financial institutions.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Financial Analysis & Strategy: Assist in managing business KPI's, analyzing financial risks and building predictive models
  • Product Development: Contribute to the research and development of finance solutions suitable for business owners
  • Sustainable Finance: Support the creation and implementation of sustainable finance strategies for our banking partners, focusing on digital innovation
  • Investment & Risk Analysis: Apply fundamental investment management principles to the evaluation of opportunities and assist in assessing portfolio risks and mitigation strategies
  • Client & Operations Insight: Gain practical experience in client management, internal audit processes, wealth management operations through structured project work

 

Track 2: The Career Durability Lab 

Concurrently, your day-to-day responsibilities will be supported by your immersion in our four-phase lab; building the professional infrastructure for a durable career.

  • Phase 1: The foundation: Master time management, prioritize effectively and map your stakeholders
  • Phase 2: Develop confidence to lead meetings, manage workplace dynamics and build an advisory network. Design your career roadmap using real data.
  • Phase 3: Learn to identify the highest-impact work, automate tasks and build systems that maximize the value you bring to the workplace.
  • Phase 4: Craft your narrative for getting hired or promoted, build negotiation skills and develop leadership qualities to transition from intern to an indispensable team member.
