ASSISTANT PRODUCTION MANAGER 
 

THE MAGIC OF ROB LAKE: LIVE FROM BROADWAY is seeking a highly organized and dependable Assistant Production Manager for upcoming 2026 touring and special engagements.

This role supports the Production Manager in coordinating technical operations, logistics, and daily production needs for a large-scale touring theatrical production. The APM works closely with department heads, venue staff, and touring crew to ensure consistent execution across all engagements.

Responsibilities

• Support advancing and venue coordination
• Assist with scheduling and production logistics
• Help manage load-ins, performances, and load-outs
• Coordinate with local crews and touring departments
• Maintain production documentation and reports
• Assist with travel and freight coordination
• Support safety and operational standards

Qualifications

• Background in production management, technical theatre, or live events
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under deadline
• Comfortable working in fast-paced touring environments
• Touring or large-scale production experience preferred
• Proficiency with scheduling and documentation tools

• Domestic and international touring

• Travel, housing, and per diem provided

Compensation

• Compensation is based on experience and engagement type and may be structured as a day rate, weekly guarantee, or hourly rate.
• Paid rehearsals and performances.
