Customer Experience Manager

Customer Experience Manager – Baseball Bat Fitting & Player Experience Specialist
We are seeking a Customer Experience Manager with a strong baseball background to help lead our bat fitting and player experience operations. This role combines hands-on player consultation with team leadership, customer experience, and operational support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead personalized baseball bat fitting consultations based on player age, level, and certification requirements (USA, USSSA, BBCOR), ensuring a knowledgeable, confidence-building experience for every player.
  • Support the General Manager in supervising, training, and developing bat fitting specialists to deliver consistent, high-quality player experience.
  • Serve as a trusted product expert on current bat technologies, brands, and performance differences, translating technical details into clear, player-friendly recommendations.
  • Assist with staff onboarding, ongoing training, and performance coaching with an emphasis on service excellence and customer engagement.
  • Deliver an elevated, personalized player experience while building long-term relationships with players, families, coaches, and teams.
  • Support inventory management, merchandising standards, and daily store operations to maintain a clean, organized, and customer-ready environment.
  • Address player questions, concerns, or escalations professionally, ensuring timely resolution and a positive outcome that reinforces trust and loyalty.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of baseball equipment, bat mechanics, and fitting principles.
  • Previous experience in retail leadership, sports sales, coaching, or team supervision preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead by example in a fast-paced customer-facing environment.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Knowledge of baseball bat regulations and certifications (USA, USSSA, BBCOR) preferred.

  • Competitive salary $45,000 - $50,000
