Overview
Ready to spend your summer sharing the joy of reading and storytelling? As a Camp Librarian, you'll create a fun, welcoming space for campers to explore books, assist them in finding stories they'll love, and read to groups during scheduled activity times. You’ll keep the library organized and inviting while supporting a positive camp atmosphere, encouraging curiosity, kindness, and a love of learning.
 

What to Expect

  • This is a seasonal summer position, with training beginning in late May and camp running from early June through early August.
  • You’ll work on-site for about 20 hours per week between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday through Thursday, with meals provided while you’re at camp.
  • You’ll work with different groups of children throughout the summer, creating unique and rewarding experiences in every session.


What We’re Looking For

  • At least 18 years old by June 2026 preferred (but not required)
  • Experience working with children preferred (but not required)


What We Offer

  • An opportunity to build leadership, communication, and youth development skills while making a real impact
  • $250 bonus if you accept our offer of employment before March 1, 2026
  • $500 scholarship awarded to one staff member
  • $100 bonus for each team member that you refer, is hired, and arrives at camp for staff training

Salary range

  • $12 - $15 per hour
