Spring and Summer STEM Instructor

Job Description

We are hiring STEM and enrichment instructors, camp counselors, and junior counselors for our Summer 2026 STEM Day Camps in Tenafly, NJ.

No prior camp experience is required. Training, curriculum, and lesson plans are provided, so you can focus on engaging students and delivering an excellent camp experience.

Instructors

STEM & Technology: VEX IQ Robotics, Game Design, Programming (Python, Scratch, Arduino, Drones), Minecraft, 3D Printing

Science & Engineering: Chemistry, Biology, Civil, Chemical, Aerospace Engineering

Math & Business: Elementary Math, Financial Literacy, Investing

Creative Arts: Digital Art, Website Design, Graphic Design, Painting, Comic Creation

Early Elementary Instruction

Camp Staff

Camp Counselors (must be 18+ by June 22, 2026)

Junior Counselors (ages 16–17 by June 22, 2026)

Pay & Compensation

Instructors / Teachers: $20–$30 per instructional hour (based on experience and subject expertise)

Camp Counselors: $16/hour

Junior Counselors: $12–$14/hour

Qualifications

At least one year of experience working with children preferred

Enthusiastic, responsible, and dependable

Subject-area knowledge required for instructor roles

Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced camp setting
