Camp Kitchen Staff
Join our friendly, dynamic team as Gate Hill Day Camp's Food Service Staff. You'll be a part of providing all meals and snacks for our campers and staff. This is a high volume production position. Successful applicants will show excellent staff and kitchen management credentials, and be able to adapt industry best practices to the unique needs of camp. Core Responsibilities:
- Work as a member of a team during prep, lunch and clean up hours.
- Providing lunch for all campers and staff (around 800 meals a day).
- Daily service also includes, but not limited to: Cereal breakfast and various special program related food needs.
- Coordinate with the camper care team to satisfy individual food plans developed for campers with specific needs (i.e. allergies).
- Available for all pre-season staff trainings (selected days in June 2021)
- Available on Saturdays for large corporate events held at camp
- Hours: 8am - 4pm Shift A; 2pm - 8pm Shift B (flexibility as needed)
- Additional pay provided for weekend corporate events, weekend camp picnics and pre-camp work (negotiable)
