STEM Instructor

Stemtree of San Mateo is a K-12 STEM Education Center. We are seeking energetic and highly motivated individuals who enjoy working with children and empowering them for success.

The position requires teaching basic science, computer programming, math, robotics, and electronics.

All teaching is conducted 1 on 1. Prior experience as an instructor or tutor (including volunteer experience) is desired but not required. Instructors will undergo paid training.

Flexible hours and scheduling available.

Center Hours: M-F 3:00 pm - 6:30 pm (2 pm - 6:30 pm on Wed) and Sat: 10 am - 1 pm

REQUIREMENTS:

• Computer science/Engineering/Information Technology major candidates
• Candidates must be comfortable teaching young kids and be open to learning unique teaching methods
• Strong people skills
• Background check required upon hiring
• Reliable and prompt
• Fast learner
• Candidates must have their own transportation
