Position Overview
As an Admissions & Marketing Assistant at Riverview School, you will play a vital role in guiding families to the school and through the admissions process. This position involves managing applications, coordinating communications, events, and ensuring prospective families experience the warmth and excellence that define Riverview. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and track applications from inquiry to enrollment.
- Serve as the primary contact for prospective families, answering questions and providing guidance.
- Conduct initial application reviews to evaluate Riverview School as an appropriate next step for the prospective student.
- Coordinate and participate in admissions events such as open houses, campus tours, and student visit days.
- Maintain accurate records in the admissions database.
- Act as backup to the Admissions Office Manager.
- Coordinate communications to promote the school
- Coordinate marketing activities to create admissions inquiries
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
- Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace; familiarity with CRM or student information systems preferred.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Prior experience in admissions, customer service, or education preferred.
Requirements
- Suitable background check (CORI, SORI, DCF) and fingerprinting required.
- Legal authorization to work in the US
- Valid CPR certification or ability to obtain within 6-months of hire
- Valid Driver’s license
- Ability to walk extended distances and navigate campus and off-site events.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25lbs
