About the Position
Sky 3 Entertainment is an independent entertainment company based in Nashville, TN offering unpaid, remote internships with the option for academic credit (non-credit options also available). We are seeking a highly motivated individual interested in gaining hands-on experience in the entertainment industry by assisting with visual branding and content creation for a country artist.
This internship provides real-world, on-the-job experience in graphic design, video editing, and digital promotion. Interns are assigned meaningful projects that support learning how the entertainment business operates. Applicants outside the Nashville area are welcome, as this position is fully remote.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities may include
- Designing digital graphics such as images, flyers, banners, posters, and promotional assets for social media and websites
- Creating social media graphics for specific events and releases
- Coordinating with calendars and schedules to produce timely event graphics and video content
- Editing and producing videos for social media, online platforms, live events, and promotional use
- Handling requests for additional graphic design or video editing projects as needed
- Performing basic video editing including color correction, sound editing, text overlays, and graphic elements
- Making additions or updates to websites to enhance branding and visibility (optional)
Qualifications
To qualify for this internship, applicants must
- Commit 10 to 15 hours per week for a minimum of three months
- Be available 4 to 5 days per week for a minimum of 2 hours per day
- Be familiar with Adobe Creative Cloud software, including Photoshop and Illustrator, and/or Canva
- Have the ability to edit and produce videos for social media, websites, and online platforms
- Have experience with color correction, sound editing, text editing, and graphic elements in video projects
- Be familiar with video editing for recorded and webcast projects
- Have basic familiarity with content management systems such as WordPress (optional)
- Have reliable computer and internet access and be available by phone and email
- Possess working knowledge of Google Docs, Calendars, and spreadsheets
- Be familiar with Microsoft Office programs
- Be proficient with social media platforms including Facebook, X, Instagram, and YouTube
- Have an outgoing personality and a positive attitude
- Be capable of working independently and in non-traditional work environments
- Be willing to learn and take on increasing responsibility
- Possess strong time management skills
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Be highly organized, detail-oriented, and accurate
