The Role at a Glance
Are you a college student passionate about building modern, scalable applications and learning API integration? This is an opportunity for hands-on experience in full-stack development and integration within the Wholesaler Experience team, supporting Lincoln's Distribution and Marketing Technology organization. You’ll gain exposure to enterprise-level platforms like Salesforce, MuleSoft, and AWS, while learning from experienced engineers in an agile, DevOps-driven environment.
The role is part of Lincoln’s Emerging Technologist Program (ETP), a two-year early career development initiative designed to accelerate the growth of future-ready IT professionals
What you'll be doing
- Collaborate with the Wholesaler Experience Value Stream team to support Salesforce and MuleSoft development initiatives
- Assist in building and customizing applications on the Salesforce Platform using declarative tools and programmatic capabilities (Apex, Lightning Components)
- Learn and contribute to API-led integration projects using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, connecting Salesforce with other enterprise systems
- Gain hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices using GitLab
- Participate in agile ceremonies and work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions
- Explore cloud technologies and integration patterns with AWS and other enterprise platforms
- Document work and follow best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment
What we’re looking for
Must-haves:
- Senior or recent graduate pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- GPA of 3.0 or above
- Strong interest in CRM development, API integration, and cloud technologies.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment and adapt to changing priorities
Nice-to-haves (Preferred):
- Familiarity with Salesforce Platform (Apex, Lightning Components, declarative tools).
- Exposure to MuleSoft Anypoint Platform or API-led integration concepts.
- Basic knowledge of Java, SQL, or RESTful APIs.
- Experience with GitLab or other version control systems.
- Interest in DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and agile methodologies.
