Overnight Security Officer

Security Officer Responsibilities:

• Patrolling and monitoring premises to detect any irregularities, which may include suspicious behavior or security breaches.
• Keeping calm when alarms are triggered and escorting people to safety.
• Responding to calls for help and contacting the fire department or law enforcement if required.
• Assisting during emergencies, ensuring minimal injury to people and damage to property.
• De-escalating and calling appropriate personnel to remove anyone who threatens the safety or disturbs the peace.
• Following orders and working as part of a team to ensure the safety of staff and customers.
• Writing up daily reports and providing suggestions for improved security.
• Undertaking all tasks with the utmost integrity and professionalism.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid driver’s license is required
• Have a clean criminal background
• 18 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or GED
• Most positions involve standing, sitting, and walking for extended periods of time (see below for physical requirements)
• Read, Write, and Speak efficiently
• Working cell phone and reliable transportation
