Marketing Technology Intern

Meyocks is searching for a student looking to make their mark as a Marketing Technology Intern to join our team this summer. The ideal candidate will be mentored and work directly with members of our marketing technology and data science teams to support analytics, tracking, website launches, and data quality assurance. This role plays a critical part in making sure our clients’ digital ecosystems are set up for success from day one.

 

Job Summary:

The Marketing Technology intern will support the Meyocks team in assisting with marketing analytics, working with cross functional teams, and supporting building, integrating, and optimizing websites.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and manage lists across multiple platforms to support marketing and analytics initiatives.
  • Create, place, and test tracking pixels using Google Tag Manager (GTM).
  • Perform quality assurance (QA) to ensure tracking, tags, and integrations are functioning properly.
  • Support website launch testing to confirm analytics and tracking accuracy.
  • Create reports in Google Analytics.
  • Generate and manage QR codes for campaigns and reporting needs.



 

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong analytical skills and an ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Comfortable working with data, platforms, and technical details.
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Curious, self-motivated, and eager to understand how data supports smarter marketing decisions.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Thrives in a collaborative team environment.
  • Flexible, coachable, and open to feedback.
  • Open to remote, in-office or hybrid working environments.

 

Education and Experience:

  • A student pursuing a bachelor's degree in marketing, marketing technology, data analytics, information systems, or a related field.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office and project management software such as Asana.
  • Experience working with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager (or a strong desire to learn).
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience through internships, campus activities, volunteering, class work or transferable work experience.



 

Other Requirements:

  • Internship can be virtual, in-person or hybrid.
  • Looking for intern to work at least 20 hours per week.
  • Meyocks can be flexible with hours to accommodate class schedules.
