Service Field Technician

As a Service Field Technician, you will work in the field diagnosing and repairing commercial AV systems, applying your hands-on experience with AV, low-voltage, or electronics service work to ensure systems operate at peak performance.

Respond to service tickets and client requests to diagnose, repair, or reprogram AV systems

Travel to client sites daily to provide hands-on support

Troubleshoot systems using diagnostic tools, signal tracing, and control system interfaces

Collaborate with the Customer Care Dispatch team to prioritize and complete work orders

Complete accurate documentation for service tickets, client communication, and parts used

Qualifications:
 

• Prior experience installing or servicing commercial AV, low-voltage, or electronic control systems
• Familiarity with signal flow, diagnostic tools, and basic AV wiring practices
• Experience with service tickets and job tracking tools (e.g., CRM or field service platforms)
• Strong communication skills to explain issues and resolutions to clients
• Ability to climb ladders, carry equipment, and travel between job sites with flexibility
