Podcast Social Media Intern
We are launching a new, high-profile podcast in partnership with The National Law Review, a leading national legal publication. The podcast features interviews with senior legal professionals, policymakers, and elected officials and is focused on law, policy, technology, and public affairs.
We are seeking a Podcast Social Media Intern to help build and grow the podcast’s social media presence across major platforms by creating engaging, short-form content derived from podcast episodes.

Compensation
$10–$15 per hour, depending on experience
Responsibilities
Create short-form video and audio clips from podcast episodes
Edit and format content for distribution on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube (including Shorts), X, and LinkedIn as appropriate
Develop platform-specific captions, hooks, and post copy to drive engagement
Maintain a consistent posting schedule and content calendar
Assist with developing the podcast’s overall social media voice and brand
Track engagement metrics and help identify content that performs well
Collaborate with the podcast production team to identify strong moments for clipping
Stay current on social media trends relevant to podcast and media growth
Required qualifications
Prior experience creating or managing social media content
Demonstrated ability to edit short-form video content (e.g., CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar tools)
Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube content formats and best practices
Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Preferred qualifications
Experience working with podcasts, interviews, or long-form video content
Experience building or growing a social media account or brand
Familiarity with legal, policy, or public affairs content
Comfort working with professional speakers and public figures
About the role
This role is focused on audience growth and brand building. The intern will play a direct role in shaping how the podcast is presented to the public and will gain hands-on experience working with nationally recognized legal and policy voices.
