Senior Gift Planning Strategist

Major Gifts – Remote (U.S. Based)

The Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) is seeking a Senior Gift Planning Strategist to provide expert gift planning counsel in support of a comprehensive Planned Giving program. This role advances long-term financial support for CBN and its ministries through a donor-centric approach, introducing thoughtful charitable gift strategies that secure both current and deferred gifts while aligning with donors’ overall philanthropic goals. Serving in this position facilitates ministry activities and contributes to CBN’s Biblical mission to advance the Gospel of Jesus Christ worldwide.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

• Law degree or comprehensive advisor certification in philanthropy with six or more years of experience in the gift planning field
• Extensive working knowledge of charitable gift planning tools, techniques, strategies, and related tax laws, with the ability to remain current on tax legislation affecting charitable giving through webinars, programs, and conferences focused on gift planning
• Proficiency in the use of software applications and CRM database management systems required to support major and planned giving efforts
• High degree of personal and professional integrity, demonstrated through sound judgment when managing confidential information and addressing controversial and/or culturally sensitive subjects
• Commitment to fostering a respectful, Christ-centered work environment aligned with CBN’s core values of Excellence, Innovation, and Integrity
• Seasoned professional with exceptional interpersonal skills to build and sustain relationships, strong analytical abilities, and the capacity to persuasively articulate gift planning strategies and the mission of CBN, resulting in financial commitments to the organization
• Highly motivated individual who conducts CBN business with excellence, spiritual maturity, and professional integrity, maintaining confidentiality and sensitivity while delivering practical and creative charitable gift strategies to donors and their advisors
• Excellent research, planning, organizational, and time management skills
• Demonstrated life application of Biblical principles and practices in alignment with CBN’s nonprofit Christian mission
