Position Summary
The Assistant will assist Dave Slade (the professor of 130) with the recitation and help the students with the material. Tasks will vary depending on the students’ needs, but may include:
- Helping students understand material
- Helping the professor with the students
- Answer questions that the students have about the material
Responsibilities
Tasks will vary depending on the department’s needs, but may include:
- Be enrolled at least half-time and be in good academic standing.
- Have completed Chem 130 with a good understanding of the material
Qualifications
- Strong teaching abilities
- Strong organizational skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Flexibility and willingness to learn new skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision.
- Experience using Microsoft Excel.
