Originations Intern

Position Summary

We are seeking an Originations Intern who will work with our team of Relationship Managers and Originations Analysts to structure new loans, analyze financing transactions, conduct market related analysis, and work directly with current and new customers. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced team environment and quickly build both quantitative and customer-facing skills, expertise related to structuring commercial loans and work closely with senior team members.

 

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Data analytics and entry
  • Excel modeling
  • Create reports and reporting decks
  • Answer hotline and respond to web leads
  • Assist with conference and roadshow schedule and preparation
  • Assist with pipeline management

 

Required Experience, Skills, & Competencies

Education and Background:

  • Current undergraduates (rising junior or senior) pursuing a bachelor’s degree

 

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Ability to meet assigned deadlines.
  • Ability to perform multiple assignments.

 

Core Competencies

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Collaborative mindset with a willingness to learn and contribute to team goals.
  • Professionalism and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

 

Other Requirements

  • Available for full-time participation during the summer program (June–August 2026).
  • In-office presence required 4 to 5 days a week depending on location and project needs.

 

A reasonable estimate of the total compensation range for this role is $27/hr.
