HR Systems Student Transactor
The UCI Human Resources HRIS Team is hiring two student assistant to support full time staff.
Position Summary:
This position will be primarily dedicated to interacting with many HR systems that impact hires, transfers, data changes and UCI Health compliance for both state and federal agencies. The ideal candidate can adapt to new technologies quickly while also understanding implications of the transactions processed. Role is primarily dedicated to handling employment files both in electronic and paper formats and processing HR system transactions, applying quality assurance throughout each process. Training and instruction will be provided.
Job duties include,but not limited to:
- Interacting with UC Irvine’s online employment files system (PROS)
- Upload New Hires, Transfers, Electronic files to PROS
- Sort and Upload Paper Department and Other legacy files to PROS
- HR/Human Capital Management System (People Soft UCPATH) Volunteer Hire Transactions
- Other data changes into UCPath system as needed
- Additional support may be required for:
- Maintain UCI Health’s compliance utilizing Evercheck, license verification system. Evercheck discrepancy exceptions report compliance and QA
- Tracker I-9 Visa Expiration compliance and maintenance
Hours and availability:
- 19 hours per week, Monday - Friday, between 8am – 5pm. Flexible schedule.
- Position will be ONSITE and report to the UCI Human Resources office in Irvine and on occasion Orange, working around school schedules.
Minimum qualifications:
- Friendly and eager to learn
- Ability to followdirections carefully
- Excellent customer serviceskills
- Experience in Microsoft Outlook Calendar, Email, Excel, Word, Teams
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Proactive and courteous
- Strong writtenand verbal communication skills
- Ability to remain organized and prioritize own work
