Growth Marketing Intern

Role: Growth Marketing Intern (Summer 2026)

Compensation: $16.00 – $19.00 / hr (DOE)

Schedule: 30-40 hours/week | 16-week program (flexible)

Location: Durham, NC at the American Tobacco Campus; Flexible Hybrid 3–5 days in-office

The Opportunity: You will be joining the team behind PavePro, our flagship asphalt solvent that is currently taking over the paving industry. PavePro is revolutionizing how road crews work by replacing dangerous, illegal chemicals with high-performance, eco-friendly solutions. The industry is shifting, and PavePro is leading the charge. We aren't just selling a product; we are changing the standard of the entire paving world.

 

About the Role

We are looking for a driven, creative, and analytical intern to join our marketing team for the summer. This is not a "coffee run" internship. You will be boots-on-the-ground helping us capture the market dominance of PavePro and maintaining our marketing channels with over one million combined followers.

You will work as a Growth Marketing Associate, bridging the gap between creative content and revenue generation. You will create content that grabs attention in unique ways and distribute it to the people who need to see it.

 

What You Will Do

Please note: Job responsibilities will differ based on capabilities, experience, and intern preference.

  • Fuel the PavePro Takeover: Create short-form video and ad creatives that showcase why PavePro is the undisputed king of asphalt removal, as well as proactively engaging with industry influencers, paving contractors, and asphalt professionals to increase brand visibility.
  • Content That Sells: Design graphics and write copy for social media and email campaigns that drive real clicks and revenue. 
  • Lead Generation: Assist in managing our sales pipeline, engaging with prospects on social channels, and executing email outreach sequences to get PavePro in the hands of new customers.
  • Analyze the Wins: Track performance metrics for your content to see what’s driving the most traffic and help us double down on what works.

Who You Are

  • The Storyteller: You are comfortable using tools like CapCut and Canva (Adobe Creative Cloud is a plus) to turn a product feature into a compelling video or graphic.
  • The Challenger: You love the idea of working with a small family business that is disrupting an old-school industry and are comfortable working in the blue-collar construction industry.
  • The Multitasker: You can handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment with careful attention to detail. 
  • The Professional: You are organized, eager to learn, and ready to work in a fast-paced small business environment where your contributions are actually seen.
  • Education: Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree preferably in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or have 1-2 years of experience.
