Internship Title

Customer Service Intern

How Many Openings: 1

Hours of Internship: 20 hours a week.

Location: In Office (Oakland Park, FL, 33334).

 

Duties or Tasks Performed

 

  • Assist in providing excellent customer service and contribute to customer retention efforts.
  • Support the team in answering incoming customer inquiries under supervision.
  • Help with outgoing follow-up calls to prospects.
  • Assist in organizing and updating customer records in the CRM system.
  • Learn and assist in preparing reports on customer accounts.
  • Participate in team meetings to understand service processes and strategies.
  • Provide general administrative support to the customer service team, such as filing, organizing documents, and preparing materials.
  • Observe and learn the process of handling customer issues and escalate them appropriately.

 

Job Specifications, Standards, and Requirements

 

  • Education Requirements: Open to undergraduate students in relevant fields such as Marketing, Business, or Communications.
  • Years of Experience: Entry-level; no prior experience required.

 

  • Knowledge and Skills:
    • Bilingual (English and Spanish preferred).
    • Basic familiarity with CRM systems is a plus.
    • Strong communication and organizational skills.
    • Eager to learn and contribute to a team.
    • Positive attitude and self-motivated.

Compensation

This is an unpaid internship. However, interns will gain valuable hands-on experience in customer service and CRM management, learn industry-specific skills, and receive mentorship from experienced professionals to boost their career prospects. Additionally, this opportunity offers a chance to build a professional network in South Florida's financial services industry.
