Spring Campus Fellow
Dayenu: A Jewish Call to Climate Action is seeking 5 Spring Campus Fellows to help bring a spiritually rooted Jewish climate movement to their campus during spring semester of 2026. Fellows will receive a $300 stipend for the semester to attend weekly trainings and organize the Jewish community on their campus in support of climate justice campaigns. Fellows will also be tasked with hosting a climate justice seder on their campus (with an additional budget) and strengthening and supporting Dayenu’s communication strategy.
This is an opportunity to join a spirited and talented team of people passionate about addressing the climate crisis, shape our work to support college students and young people more effectively, gain professional development and a strong network of support to advance a justice-oriented career, and be a core part of bringing students into a transformative Jewish climate movement.
The ideal candidate is an active organizer on campus with very strong communication skills who is adaptable, determined, and creative in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys supporting others to do their best work. They must be willing to test and attempt new ideas, conceptualize and execute ideas from start to finish, prioritize effectively, work independently, consistently meet the moment, and represent the organization with professionalism and warmth.
Position tasks:
- Hosting a climate seder on your campus
- Bringing students together to integrate climate justice into Jewish practice
- Creating social media content for Dayenu’s channels on Instagram and TikTok
- Supporting state-level campaigns in CA, MA, and NY
- Bringing Jewish ritual to existing campus campaigns, coalitions, and mobilizations
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in an institution of higher education. Undergraduate and graduate students are both welcome to apply
- Strong communication skills and understanding of the climate crisis and the role of Jews in the climate justice movement
- Ability to think about climate as an intersectional issue that requires the leadership of young folks and intergenerational solidarity
- Interest in event planning and community building, with creative and bold ideas
- Ability to work across differences and commitment to creating a safe space for all students on campus across a diversity of practices, demographics, and beliefs
- Basic understanding of Jewish holidays, practices, and values
- Preferred: in CA, MA, or NY
- Preferred: current involvement in existing social justice campaigns
- Preferred: previous involvement with Dayenu or Jewish climate justice
- Preferred: experience with content creation, graphic design, and digital communication
