Project Management Intern

         PM and Business Development Internship Job Description

Assisting the PM Team in coordinating purchasing activities for the company, arrange and follow up on logistic activities, order and revies material samples, initiate production, supervise quality control and scheduling, collaborate with client quotes, and find new vendors. Insight to project management functions and assist and collaborate with all other company departments if needed, including Miami, Venezuela, and Colombia. Additionally, act in a support role to the Business Development team by conducting market research, managing client outreach, assisting with marketing initiatives, and handling RFPs.

 

PM Activities:
• Monitor and comprehend ongoing sourcing and procurement initiatives.
• Assist in arranging courier shipments, track their status and keep logistics report up to date.
• Attend monthly team meetings to stay informed about project deadlines and updates.
• Assist the project manager in addressing issues and managing tasks effectively.
• Engage in communication and negotiations with current and potential international vendors.
• Identify additional sources for various product categories.
• Collaborate on client quotations for management review.
• Gain insight into pricing and budgeting for products and services.
• Propose alternative pricing strategies to enhance sales projects.
• Contribute to the maintenance and updating of the company website as required.
• Support the processing of incoming and outgoing RFPs.
• Oversee the material sample process for department projects, including ordering, receiving, reviewing, labeling, and coordinating with internal and external contacts.
• Manage the material library by organizing, cleaning, and purchasing upgrades as necessary.
• Assist with general office activities and administrative tasks including answering phones, taking messages, receiving mail and packages, booking travel, and more.

Business Development & Marketing Activities:
• Conduct market research to identify potential clientele and projects for outreach for Business Development Representative.
• Make updates and entries to CRM database as needed.
• Clean, organize, and qualify lead databases.
• Follow-up with prospecting leads via cold calls and help with the planned retargeting campaign of BD Representative.
• Assist BD Representative with marketing activities related to campaigns and social media.
• Develop and Execute a Social Media schedule over 6 months.
• Actively assist and manage Social Media accounts of BD team members (creating, posting & connecting)
• Assist BD Representative with research and planning for industry events.
• Help maintain/update company website as needed.

General Activities:
• Assist with general office activities and administrative tasks including answering phones, taking messages, receiving mail and packages, booking travel, and more.

 

Type of work: Internship (6 months). Starting February 2026.

Requirements:

7. Fluent in written and spoken English, Spanish is a plus


Schedule:
Work hours are Monday to Friday 9 AM to 6 PM, with an hour for lunch. Workdays will be performed in the Miami Office at 7400 NE 4th CT, Suite 102, Miami, Florida 33138.

2026 Stipend and benefits:
• Stipend of $1.000,00 monthly. Pay period are semi-monthly, paid on the 15th and last day of every month.
• 2 paid sick days.
• 1 paid personal day.
• 7 paid holidays: New Year ́s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day (X2), Christmas Day
• 5 paid vacation days.
