McCosh Films is launching a new original political + current events segment and we’re looking for a young, polished on-camera host who wants a real opportunity to build something meaningful.
This is not a typical internship or assistant role. This is a chance to host and help shape a show under the McCosh Films brand and grow an audience with credible, story-driven coverage.
We’re looking for someone who follows politics and current events seriously, thinks critically, communicates clearly, and can tell a story like a journalist, not a hot-take machine.
What We’re Building
A digital-first segment focused on:
Politics, elections, policy, and major headlines
Current events with real impact
Smart perspective, context, and storytelling
Clear, credible delivery with strong editorial standards
This segment will be filmed and distributed across social platforms, with the goal of building a loyal following over time.

Host and help shape a recurring digital segment
Research and pitch episode ideas
Write outlines/scripts and prepare for on-camera delivery
Record short segments (remote setup can work)

Help build a consistent publishing cadence and audience
What You’ll Gain
Real on-camera hosting and editorial experience
A professional platform tied to an established production company
