Quality Intern

FORVIA is looking for a year-round Quality Intern for its headquarters in Auburn Hills, Michigan.

Responsibilities: 

  • Attend warranty parts review meetings with various OEMs, document meeting minutes and update problem resolution databases. 
  • Checks OEM warranty portals regularly and extract claim data for analysis.  
  • Work with the plant quality and suppliers as necessary to create corrective action plans to address warranty issues. 
  • Create and distributes monthly warranty reports to management for various OEMs. 
  • Consolidate North America Plant Quality Data and trend analyses. 
  • Breakdown of data by failure modes to present to FIS NAO plants & management. 
  • Analyze warranty data and populate into plant paynter charts. 
  • Performs other duties in support of business unit goals and objectives. 

The ideal candidate will have/be:

  • Strong analytical and organization skills.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office, especially excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Currently a student enrolled in an accredited university and pursuing a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or Automotive at the time Internship begins
