Gymnastics Coach

Located in the Adirondacks, Point O’Pines Camp for Girls is looking for Gymnastics Coaches to teach safe, age-appropriate gymnastics, help campers build skills and confidence, and create a fun, supportive experience. Gymnastics Coaches may serve as in-bunk staff depending on camp needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach daily gymnastics classes focusing on skill development and proper technique
• Adapt instruction for different ages and ability levels
• Promote safe gymnastics practices, including warm-ups and spotting as needed
• Supervise campers to ensure safety and positive participation
• Assist with routines, demonstrations, or camp showcases as scheduled
• Maintain gymnastics equipment and activity space
• Participate in camp-wide activities and special events

Qualifications

• Experience teaching gymnastics to children or teens
• Knowledge of gymnastics safety and proper techniques
• Energetic, patient, and enthusiastic
• Strong leadership and teamwork skills

Accommodation and food provided throughout the duration of the summer. The position can also be offered as a paid internship for current college students.
