About the Role 

We’re seeking a Learning & Development Intern to join our team for a 6-month project, with possible opportunities for extended part-time or full-time work. As part of a significant knowledge management improvement initiative, you’ll work with global teams to centralize informal documentation and learning resources. The intern will be expected to work 20-30 hours per week from our Salt Lake City, UT office with ability to work periodic early morning hours ~7am to coordinate with colleagues in The Netherlands and across Europe. Work assignments will vary depending on project progress and internal prioritization.

1 hour per month of 1-on-1 career-focused coaching. 
 

What You'll Do

Transition documents from legacy formats to updated layouts, ensuring online resources are well-organized and easily accessible for exceptional employee experience.  

Collaborate with R&D, engineering, compliance, and safety teams to ensure updated materials are accurate, meet regulatory standards, and support audit readiness. 

Integrate technical and quality documentation into learning pathways and identify areas where additional training is needed. 

Track and report on knowledge base transition and content creation progress. 

Schedule and facilitate knowledge transfer and development activities with team leaders. 

Coordinate and support live training sessions for employees. 

Perform administrative tasks related to learning and knowledge access within the Seismic LMS. 
 

What You'll Bring

Currently enrolled in a relevant academic program (Engineering, Instructional Design, Education Technology, etc.). 

Strong proficiency in project management principles and tools. 

Excellent communication and collaboration skills. 

Basic understanding of software and compliance training is a plus.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

Must reside in or near Salt Lake County, Utah and be able to work in person

Ability to work in an office environment, including sitting for extended periods and moving around the office

Light work that may include moving objects up to 20 pounds

Repetitive movements as part of daily computer-based tasks

What We Offer
The hourly pay range for this role is $20–$25 USD. Packsize considers multiple factors when determining compensation, including but not limited to the role’s responsibilities, the candidate’s experience, education, and skills.
