Part-Time Instructor (SAT/ACT)

At C2 Education, we believe in our students and their potential for greatness. We are dedicated to helping students achieve their academic goals and secure admission to their dream colleges.

We provide comprehensive support in various educational areas such as College Test Prep, AP Exam, and College Essay. In addition, we offer tutoring services for students in grade K-12 and AP/Summer Boot Camps.

 

Job Purpose:

To Provide high- quality part-time instruction to students, following C2 Educational Systems Inc.’s curriculum and educational philosophy. This role focuses on fostering a positive learning environment and supporting student academic growth and development. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons aligned with prescribed curriculum and learning goals.
  • Assess students’ progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to students and the Center Director.
  • Maintain accurate student records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a supportive and enriching learning environment.
  • Communicate effectively with Center Director about student progress and any concerns.
  • Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with best practices.
  • Adhere to C2 Educational System Inc.’s policies and procedures, upholding the organization’s standards of excellence.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, relevant to position and needs of the students 

 

Position Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher required.
  • AP-level knowledge in one or more subjects (English, Humanities, Math, and Science) is preferred.
  • Score at the 95th percentile on our diagnostic SAT, AP, or ACT test.
  • Highly skilled, motivated, versatile, dependable, and dynamic individuals with strong communication skills.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  •  
  • Minimum of one year of teaching experience in a relevant subject area is preferred.
  • Friendly, patient, and sensitive to the needs of a diverse student population.
  • Ability to tutor in-person. 

 

Schedule:

  • School Year Hours: Mondays – Fridays 1:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.; Saturdays 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  • Summer Hours: Mondays - Thursdays and Saturdays: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Job Type: Part-time
