Greensboro History Museum Programming Intern
PUBLIC PROGRAMS
Learn and apply best professional practice for community engagement and museum programming. Working under the direction of the Curator of Education and Public Programs Coordinator, the intern will assist in program planning, research, design and implementation of the 2026 Juneteenth Bike Tour and Flashback program. Additional responsibilities will include supporting other public programming, digital assets, and promotion of Greensboro history in the community.
Successful applicants should be students with demonstrated skills in historical research, project organization, writing, social media, and creative thinking. Working knowledge of digital history/graphic design technology such as Canva or KnightLab story maps and/or experience with program planning, delivery, and public speaking are a plus. This internship is available beginning mid-May, with a flexible schedule.
