About our Internship Program:
Take the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data analytics, IT systems, and technology operations at the forefront of Guam’s real estate innovation. You’ll be exposed to real-world data workflows, IT ticket handling, and technology solutions that support the business.
Our IT & Data Internship Program is designed to give you a comprehensive view of how technology, data management, and IT support intersect in a fast-paced, real estate–driven environment. You will work alongside data analysts, data engineers, IT support specialists, and other associates to contribute to live projects while learning valuable technical and analytical skills.
This position will provide exposure to all aspects of our business, in four main departments: 1) direct assistance to our Executive Team, 2) assisting our Escrow Team with reviewing and generating reports, data entry, and preparing documents, 3) assisting our Title Department and Research Team in conducting research, data entry, and document workflow management, 4) and learning the technology stack with our Technology and Process Department.

Summary: The IT & Data Intern will assist in collecting, analyzing, and managing real estate data, maintaining database systems, resolving IT tickets, and supporting technology operations. You will learn how to work with datasets, troubleshoot IT issues, and support cross-departmental technology needs. This role requires attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members.
Data Analytics & Management
- Collect, clean, and maintain datasets from various sources including public records, title documents, and internal databases.
- Assist with database maintenance, audits, and troubleshooting discrepancies.
- Help develop and run data reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support business decision-making.
- Create and maintain periodic reports on customer interactions with company platforms, tracking usage trends and engagement metrics.
- Develop and run internal monitoring processes to detect and flag potential security risks, data misuse, or suspicious activity patterns.
- Perform housekeeping data tasks, including identifying and correcting missing information, spotting outliers, and verifying data accuracy (e.g., incorrect recording dates).
- Support in developing ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
Quality Assurance and Compliance:
- Implement rigorous data quality assurance practices to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data products.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to real estate data handling and privacy.
Data Engineering Support
- Learn and assist with maintaining data pipelines for real estate data.
- Work with SQL and scripting tools to automate repetitive data processes.
- Validate new datasets and analytical models for accuracy.
Product Development Support:
- Collaborate with product development teams to create innovative data products and services for the real estate and mortgage industries.
- Validate and test new data sources and analytical models to ensure accuracy and relevance.
IT Support & Technology Operations
- Handle and manage IT support tickets, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues for end-users.
- Assist in setting up and maintaining company devices and user accounts.
- Support technology integration projects, including new software rollouts and system upgrades.
Cross-Departmental Support
- Collaborate with the product and research teams on data and technology initiatives.
- Assist in testing and providing feedback for new internal tools.
- Shadow IT and data professionals to learn best practices in both technical and client-facing scenarios.
- Learn and gain familiarity with the land records system used by the Department of Land Management, including processes for accessing and managing property and title information.
Experience or Coursework Required
Skills
- Strong analytical skills and expertise in statistical analysis, data mining, and predictive modeling techniques.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or other data analysis tools and languages.
- Familiarity with MS Access, PGAdmin, and other database management systems.
- Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS).
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for non-technical audiences.
Education
If the candidate is not currently an active high school or college student, a high school diploma is required. Otherwise, candidates must be currently enrolled as a student in good standing at a local high school or college.
Computer Skills
The ideal candidate should have beginner to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Experience with SQL for database querying and management is preferred, along with exposure to programming languages such as Java. Familiarity with tools like MS Access, PGAdmin, Tableau, Power BI, and GIS software (ArcGIS or QGIS) is valuable. Candidates should be able to quickly learn and adapt to new software tools and technology platforms.

Other Requirements:
Permanent US work authorization required. We do not offer relocation assistance or housing for our internship program. Fulltime Teleworking is not available, and Interns will be required to work onsite.
