Social Media Marketing Intern

Position Type: Internship (For Academic Credit)
Academic Credit: Up to 4 credits (with academic approval)
Hours: 15–20 hours per week, flexible based on academic credit requirements

Role Overview

This for-credit internship provides students with hands-on learning in social media marketing, brand communication, and digital engagement within a professional consulting environment. Interns will work under supervision on structured projects designed to support learning, skill development, and real-world application.

This role is educational in nature and emphasizes applied learning rather than employment.

Project Professionals plans to bring on up to four interns for this role to support consistent daily posting and collaboration.

Learning Responsibilities

Interns may support projects such as:

  • Creating and posting daily content across company social media channels
  • Drafting professional captions aligned to brand voice and business goals
  • Managing content calendars and scheduling posts
  • Repurposing long-form content into short-form social posts
  • Supporting visibility and thought leadership for company leaders and closers
  • Tracking engagement and documenting content performance insights

All work is completed under supervision with guidance and feedback.

By the end of the internship, students will:

Eligibility & Academic Credit

  • Project Professionals will support required evaluations and documentation
