Collections Representative- Portfolio Management

Full-time position: Monday to Friday, 7AM-4PM
Pay Range: $52,000 – $64,000
Quarterly Bonus Eligibility
On-site: Costa Mesa, CA

Summary: We are seeking a growth-minded Portfolio Management Representative who is ready to take the next step in their career. The Portfolio Management Representative is responsible for conducting soft collections activities as well as assisting with customer service requests and inquiries.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Communicate with lending partners regarding all customer service and past due account inquiries.
• Conduct collections calls to all accounts with past due balances to cure delinquency and ensure no further delinquency occurs.
• Prepare and send written correspondence to past due customers.
• Provide details on collections accounts that remain past due to be submitted for legal action.
• Respond to internal and external customer service calls and emails with requested information.
• Prepare customer service items such as copies of documents, payment histories, payoff quotes, balance statements, invoices, as well as payment processing, set up/update ACH bank information.
• Process and update various reports and UCC filings.
• Assist with special Portfolio Management projects as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 1+ years of collections experience
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Knowledge of Portfolio Servicing, Commercial Finance is desirable
