We are seeking a dynamic, student-centered elementary school teacher to join our Professional Learning Community. We are seeking educators who thrive in a collaborative environment of teamwork and ongoing professional learning. Imagine Desert West Elementary is a public K-5 charter school centrally located off the I-10 and 67th Avenue; we opened our doors in August 2006. We offer a comprehensive curriculum all of our core subjects in conjunction with daily specials (i.e. PE, Technology, Art, Library, Music and ASL), which allow for daily prep time and weekly professional collaboration with learning teams.
Imagine Desert West is a Title I school with a diverse population of learners, many of whom are English Language Learners. We pride ourselves on educating the entire student by providing unique learning opportunities through our PBIS program, quarterly family events, and engaging student field trips.
