Attorney – Transactional, Regulatory & Litigation Support

Job Summary

The CP Law Group is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Attorney with strong transactional and regulatory experience to join our growing legal team. This position will support a broad range of business, compliance, regulatory, and litigation-related matters and will work closely with firm leadership and clients to provide strategic legal guidance.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be capable of working independently with minimal supervision while also collaborating effectively as part of a team.

Candidate must be currently licensed to practice law in the State of Georgia.

Key Responsibilities

Transactional & Regulatory

  • Draft, review, and negotiate transactional documents, including contracts, agreements, policies, and business filings
  • Review business practices to ensure regulatory compliance and risk mitigation
  • Assist with regulatory analysis impacting client recovery and firm operations
  • Support firm-wide risk management and compliance initiatives
  • Coordinate with outside counsel and regulatory agencies as needed
  • Stay current on changes in applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards

Client & Practice Management

  • Communicate regularly with clients, providing clear guidance, updates, and strategic advice
  • Collaborate with paralegals, legal assistants, and the management team
  • Participate in client intake, business development, and firm growth initiatives

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Active license to practice law in good standing in the State of Georgia
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant legal experience (transactional, regulatory, litigation, or a combination)
  • Strong drafting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience advising businesses or organizations on compliance matters preferred
