Position Overview:
The Environmental Intern or Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Intern will work with our Environmental and Facility Safety team. The ideal candidate will be individuals who are humble, hungry & smart.
This position will be a (PAID) Internship position.
Job Duties
Environmental Compliance Support
- Assist with environmental and safety inspections, audits, and site walkthroughs
- Support compliance activities related to air, water, waste, and spill prevention programs
- Help maintain environmental records, permits, logs, training records, and inspection documentation
Data, Reporting & Documentation
- Assist with data tracking for environmental metrics (waste, recycling, emissions, water use) and corrective actions
- Support preparation of reports, spreadsheets, and environmental event documentation
- Help organize records for regulatory inspections or internal audits
Program & Project Support
- Assist with updates to environmental programs (e.g., waste management, stormwater, spill prevention, chemical management)
- Participate in environmental improvement or compliance projects
Training & Awareness
- Support environmental training materials and presentations
- Assist with employee awareness campaigns and environmental communications
- Attend EHS or environmental meetings

Skills/Qualifications
- Currently enrolled college student (any year encouraged to apply)
- Majoring in or interested in:
- Environmental Science
- Environmental Engineering
- Environmental Studies
- Occupational Safety & Health
- Industrial Hygiene, Chemistry, Biology, or related fields
- Strong interest in environmental protection, compliance, or workplace safety
- Strong work ethic, ability to prioritize and excellent communication skills.
- A valid driver’s license and proof of insurability is required. All drivers are subject to a DMV background records search and passing a drug and alcohol test.
- Must be a team player.
