Social Media and Communications Intern
Position Summary:
Endless Sports is seeking a creative and motivated Social Media & Communications Intern to help amplify our mission to provide a fun and safe environment for members of the special needs community to experience the joy of athletic activity. This intern will play a key role in building and maintaining our social media presence and assisting with the creation of engaging newsletters that connect families, volunteers, donors, and the broader community to our work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create, schedule, and maintain content across Endless Sports’ social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn).
- Assist in developing and writing a regular newsletter, including gathering stories, photos, and updates from programs and events.
- Help ensure messaging is inclusive, mission-aligned, and reflects the values of Endless Sports.
- Monitor engagement, respond to comments/messages as appropriate, and suggest ideas to grow audience reach.
- Support special campaigns, events, and community highlights through digital storytelling.
- Qualifications:
- Strong written communication skills and interest in digital marketing or communications.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and basic content creation tools.
- Passion for community service and working with or advocating for individuals with special needs.
- Organized, dependable, and able to work independently with guidance.
Learning Opportunities:
This internship offers hands-on experience in nonprofit communications, social media strategy, and storytelling while making a meaningful impact in the special needs community.

This internship may qualify for an hourly wage and/or academic or class credit, pending approval from the student’s school or program.
