Position Summary
Supports the Recruitment Department by assisting with recruitment efforts conducted through external platforms such as AA and AARP. Works under the guidance of the Recruitment (AA & AARP) Team Lead to help manage job postings, candidate outreach, and application tracking. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals interested in recruitment, human resources, or nonprofit talent acquisition. No prior experience is required. Training and guidance are provided.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist with creating, posting, and updating job, internship, and volunteer listings on AA and AARP platforms
• Support monitoring of applications and candidate inquiries
• Help track recruitment activity, applicant status, and follow-up actions
• Assist with coordinating candidate communications as directed
• Support collaboration with Human Resources and hiring teams
• Help ensure recruitment postings follow organizational standards and inclusive hiring practices
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling applicant information
• Provide general administrative support to the Recruitment team
